Obituary of Norma Jean Mann
Mann: Norma Jean (Patterson), formerly of Wardsville, went home to be with the Lord at the London Health Sciences Centre, Victoria Campus on Monday, November 27, 2023 at the age of 95. Born in Cashmere, daughter of the late Delbert and Geraldine (McDonald) Patterson. Norma graduated nursing school from Victoria Hospital in London in 1949. Her career involved working with Canadian Blood Services, Public Health, and many years at Four Counties Hospital and Beattie Haven in Wardsville. Norma was a member of the Clachan Baptist Church until it closed and then attended the Bothwell Baptist Church until their move to London. Beloved wife of 71 years to Lyle Mann. Loving mother of Carolyn Nesseth (Dan), Judy MacDonald (Jamie), Mary Lou Scheifele (Brad), Janice Matuska (Paul). Sadly missed by grandchildren Joy Hyjek (Jonathon), Jonathan Nesseth, Rebecca Shulba (Tim), Matt MacDonald (Katie), Janelle Scheifele, Kyle Scheifele (Evelyn), Mark Scheifele (Britt), Abi Barwich (Micah), Rachel Matuska and great-grandchildren Ben, Avery, Leah, Nate, Mary, Noah, and Lilith. Dear sister of Bruce Patterson (Marlene). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sister Ruth Nesbitt, and brothers Archie, Hugh, and Wayne Patterson. The Mann family will receive family and friends at the Badder & Robinson Funeral Home, 211 Elm St., Bothwell on Saturday, December 2, 2023 from 11:00 AM until the funeral services at 12:00 PM. Lunch will follow immediately after the funeral service, at the Bothwell Baptist Church. A Private Family Graveside Service will be held at McLean Cemetery, Wardsville.
