Obituary of Lorraine Theresa Dreveny

Wrapped in God’s love and the love of her family, Lorraine Theresa Dreveny left this world peacefully on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at the age of 83. Born in Chatham Twp., daughter of the Late Maurice and Mary (De Visscher) Landuyt. Lorraine loved to garden, can fruits and vegetables, and bake for the one’s she loved. She enjoyed playing the card game weizen with her best friends Elaine, Andy, and her family.  Beloved wife of the Late Gerald Dreveny (2017). Loving mother of Jamie (Patti), Kathy (Dave), Greg (Patti). Sadly missed by her grandchildren Jeremiah (Emily), Chase, Kenzie (Grant), Nick (Rachel), Dylan, Dawson and great-granddaughter Genevieve. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Yvonne Bushey (Paul), Betty Vitek (Steve), John Landuyt (Joanne), Gerald Landuyt (Diana), and Geri Welch. Fondly remembered by the Dreveny Family. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by an infant sister Louise.  A Private Family Funeral Mass will be held at St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church, Dresden. Interment will be in Dresden Cemetery. Donations to the St. Michael’s Building Fund or the Holy Family Youth Ministry would be appreciated.
