Obituary of Luella Anne Elliott
ELLIOTT, Luella Anne of Thamesvillle passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on August 30, 2024 at CKHA at the age of 86. Born in Petrolia, daughter of the late William Knapp and the former Margaret (Dell) Knapp. Predeceased by loving husband of 56 years, Mac Elliott (2018). Survived by sons, Ronald (Melissa) Elliott of Thamesville and Ross (Angie) Elliott of Croton and the late Richard (Rick – 2019). Sadly missed by Grandchildren: Mac (Delta), Garrett, Shane, Beth Anne, Wade and Marty Elliott. Also survived and sadly missed by brother William Knapp (Nancy) of Chatham and sister, Irene Williams (Late Ralph) of Chatham. Fondly remembered by Helen Pickard, Bobbi-Jo Nead and Bill (Sharron) Orr. Luella was a member of the Thamesville Baptist Church, serving as Treasurer over 30 years. She started working at the age of 16 at Fetter’s Restaurant, Thamesville and she was employed by Murray Pharmacy for 28 years and Pharmasave in Ridgetown for many years. Luella enjoyed every job she had over the years. She was a member of Ridgetown Bowling League, Thamesville Cloggers and the Legion Branch 367, Thamesville. She volunteered for the Canadian Cancer Society for many years. Family and friends will be received at the John C. Badder Funeral Home 72 Victoria St., Thamesville on Tuesday from 1-3 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will be held from the funeral home on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at 11 am. Interment in Mayhew-Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Thamesville followed by fellowship at the Thamesville Legion Br. 367. If desired, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
