Obituary of Jackie Carron

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Jacqueline “Jackie” Mae Carron, who left us on October 18, 2024, at 1:00 AM, at the age of 61. Jackie was born on June 3, 1963, and spent her life surrounded by the love of family and friends. Her strength and resilience were an inspiration to all who knew her.

Jackie earned her Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Guelph. She began her career in the hospitality industry and became an entrepreneur in 1990 by launching a business organizing charity Monte Carlo events. In 2005, she transitioned into real estate, quickly becoming a top-producing agent known for her dedication to client service and professional growth, participating in coaching programs and mentoring fellow agents. Jackie worked alongside her partner and husband, Fred, building a successful real estate career together while nurturing their shared commitment to excellence and client service. Outside of her professional life, she enjoyed staying active through CrossFit, and she found joy in playing euchre and reading. Jackie’s vibrant spirit, commitment to excellence, and deep love for her family and community left a lasting impact on all who knew her.

Jackie was known for her vibrant spirit and positive outlook on life. She believed deeply in the power of manifestation, approaching challenges with optimism and determination. Her infectious positivity not only inspired those around her but also guided her in both her personal and professional endeavours. Jackie’s warmth and encouraging nature created a supportive environment for her family, friends, and colleagues, which touched the hearts of all who knew her.

Jackie is survived by her loving spouse, Fred Skogland, and her cherished daughters, Sandra and Joanne. She will be missed dearly by her siblings: Rolie Carron, Laurie Carron, Rosanne “Anne” (Del) Kearney, Suzanne (Rolf) Stengl, Ben Carron, and Steve Carron. Jackie will be remembered fondly by her nieces and nephews for her loving support and the special moments they shared together. Her beloved pets, Roger “Boo-Boo/Potato/Pumpkin” and Jasmine were also a special part of her life. Jackie is predeceased by her parents, Alice Jubenville Carron, Theodore “Ted” Carron, her siblings, Christine Carron, Joe Carron, and her best friend, Lisa Liudzius.

Family and friends are invited to Ridley Funeral Home (3080 Lake Shore Blvd West, Etobicoke) on Tuesday, October 22nd, from 3 pm to 5 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm for visitation. A funeral service will take place at Ridley Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 23rd, at 3 pm.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Wednesday, October 30th, at Lambton Golf and Country Club; details will be posted shortly.

Burial will be taking place on Saturday, November 2nd,at 2pm at St. Paul's Cemetery, 23398 Industrial Rd.,Thamesville, ON (beside Mayhew-Mt. Pleasant Cemetery). A memorial reception will take place following the burial; details will be posted shortly.,
