Thinking of Tim’s family as I just read of his passing. So sorry to have missed paying my respects in person. I remember Tim’s early childhood in Oakdale at Sunday School and Community events! In later years I would run into him in Petrolia and more recently at Black Gold. He had a caring and supportive family. ❤️❤️❤️

Our sympathy to all the McGuire families. We have very fond memories of Tim’s “high fives” at church and his strong belief in the Maple Leafs. Even when they would lose Tim would always say “don’t worry, they’ll win the next game”. His kind soul will always be remembered.

To Tim's family
We knew Tim best as a child and young man. Many of you will remember that Tim went to camp at Lamrecton for a week each summer. We were both counsellors there and we all got to know one another. Tim was a delight. Happy and easy going. We all loved camp. Tim was a great guy. He loved his ketchup, going to the beach, singing and passing food back to the kitchen after a meal.
Our condolences. May your good memories bring you comfort.

My condolences to the McGuire family at this difficult time.
My friend Tim you have done your final "You can't see me". He will be in my heart forever with all the great memories left behind. His love for all his favourite wrestlers, Toronto Maple Leafs that would need to be on the TV at the restaurant or he might have to go home. Walking up to Tim when he would come into the restaurant all he would do is put up 3 fingers, 3 piece chicken and wedges! Then ask for paper and pen to keep track of everyone that came in. You put a smile on so many faces over the years. I know that you will always be remembered by all my staff. They all waited for your arrival every night.
Bill and Laura did an amazing job raising Tim. Doug you continued from that point and truly only thought about Tim, your parents would be so proud of you.
Love you Barb

Bob, Ross, Peter, Doug and families,
Al and I would like to send our most sincere condolences to all of you. Tim was so blessed to be born into your family and cherished not only by each of you but by his community and friends. In case I haven’t told you before or if I have and you’ve forgotten, when Tim would be about twelve he attended camp. I had the privledge of being the camp nurse while he was there. One morning his counsellor came on a dead run stating “Tim is missing!” A beach towel was also missing from the clothes line outside his cabin. A frantic but systematic search began and shortly after Tim was found asleep in front of the doors to the dining hall. Tim stated that he slept there because he wanted to be first in line for breakfast! Thank goodness he was safe.

Very sorry to hear of Tim’s passing. I was lucky enough to get to know him at LCDS as a summer student many years ago and always liked catching up with him for a strong Rocky and Apollo style handshake and his famous “whazzzuuuuuuup”! He was awesome at drawing wolves and loved his Tigers. Such a positive person and hard-working salt of the earth kind of guy who was very proud of his family. Thinking of Tim’s family and friends, hoping the many years of great memories help you through this tough time.

To all of the McGuire and Butler Families,
Jen and I are heartbroken and filled sadness. We have so many great memories and stories from the many years we were lucky enough to 'work' with Tim, although it really was not work.
A dedicated and harder worker you will not find. He was the best stake pointer we ever saw, sometimes pointing stakes until there was nothing left! His work area - always clean at the end of every day.
We loved our Friday nights together. Double burger and fries with gravy at Uncle Pete's, two beers, watch wrestling, maybe drawing the odd wolf and then home for a wolf call before bed. The man rarely strayed - it was quite a tradition. I will be doing it tonight in Tim's honour (maybe minus the drawing and wrestling).
He was a great friend and LOVED his family.
We are sure going to miss you, Tim! Our family is blessed to have been able spend the time we did with you. We know we got way more from it than Tim ever did. "I will be thinking about you, man!"
Love,
Nick, Jen, Tye, Nolan, & Alex Salaris

Dearest McGuire family
I am saddened by the news of Tim’s passing.
I had the pleasure of working with Tim for many years in the workshop with in LCDS. Tim was the hardest worker I have ever met, he took pride in his work and always made sure he did the job to the best of his abilities. He never complained about any job, he just went to work and he did a great job and was motivated until the job was done. I will have fond memories of years we worked together, and the special treats he shared that mom had made for him to gift (chocolate fudge was my favourite ). He was a super fan to all sports he supported and loved to discuss the game with all, but wrestling was his favourite often sharing some moves he had picked up watching WWF with friends Friday night out. I am grateful for the years we worked together getting to know him and his family, family was so important to him but most grateful for the smiles he brought when we were treated with his famous “What’s UPPPPPPPPP” ?
Please know my thoughts are with you at this most difficult time, I will be eating a piece of German chocolate cake in his honor today.

Entire McGuire family,
We all have heavy hearts as we have learned of Tim's passing. We are fortunate and honoured to have lived, worked, and played by his side for all these years.
Throughout all his years, Tim was dedicated to his specific crafts (drawing wolves and wolf calls, preparing wood construction and survey stakes at Petrolia Enterprises, cheering on the his beloved Toronto Maple Leafs, and consuming the odd burger at Petrolia Pizza & Subs, followed by the Tim Hortons Boston Cream Donut, and having the odd beer to name a few).To say he will be missed is an understatement.
Thinking of Tim's amazing family at this most difficult time.
